Guangxi University Donates Anti-epidemic materials to Suan Dusit University of Thailand

On June 25th, 2020, the donation ceremony of anti-epidemic materials from Guangxi University of China to Suan Dusit University of Thailand was held at the Bangkok Campus of Suan Dusit University. Executive Vice President Pitauk Chancharoen, Vice President Pacharee Suankaew, Vice President Waranee Vessoontorntep and Vice President Pornchanit Kaew-nate, together with the Chinese and Thai directors and teacher representatives of Confucius Institute of Suan Dusit University at Suphanburi (CISDUS) attended the ceremony.

The Chinese director of the CISDUS represented Guangxi University to hand over the anti-epidemic PPE to Suan Dusit University and conveyed the deep concern from Guangxi University to the teachers and students of Suan Dusit University and the people of Thailand.

Vice President Dr. Pitauk Chancharoen expressed his gratitude to Guangxi University, saying that the 20,000 face masks donated by Guangxi University just came in time and would be very helpful to the teachers and students of Suan Dusit University. Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, Thailand and China, Suan Dusit University and Guangxi University have helped each other to overcome the difficulties, which truly embodies the profound friendship between Chinese and Thai people. It is believed that the cooperation between Suan Dusit University and Guangxi University is to be closer in the future.

As a bridge and platform for the cooperation between Suan Dusit University and Guangxi University, the CISDUS has played an important role in establishing a long-termed, stable and close cooperative relationship between the two universities.
