On January 9, Consul James Norman of the British Consulate General in Guangzhou visited Guangxi University. GXU vice President Dr. Fan Zuojun met with the delegates. Director of International Exchange Department and the Dean of International College attended the Meeting.

Fan Zuo-jun gave briefly introduction of Guangxi University and the current cooperation between Guangxi University and British universities. He hoped the visit of British Consulate General will further promote the research collaboration with British universities.

James Norman said that he would do his best to promote the construction of the cooperation platform between British universities and Guangxi University. He looked forward to the cooperation between the British Consulate General in Guangzhou and International College on the research of Guangxi and ASEAN relations, enhancing the influence of Guangxi in British universities, enterprises and institutions, and promoting the friendly relations between the two countries.
