Recently, China Rural Special Technology Association(CRSTA) issued The Announcement of The "Most Beautiful Science and Technology Backyard" and "Most Beautiful Graduate Students" of China Rural Special Technology Association. Guangxi Fusui Dairy Science and Technology Backyard and Guangxi Lingshan Xiangji Science and Technology Backyard, both supported by Guangxi University(GXU), have been awarded the title of "The Most Beautiful Science and Technology Backyard". Han Yongbin from Guangxi Fusui Nut Science and Technology Backyard, Zhai Jiajia from Guangxi Lingshan Xiangji Science and Technology Backyard, and Zhang Lang from Guangxi Xingning Fufengji Science and Technology Backyard have been recognized as "The Most Beautiful Graduate Students" by CRSTA.

The chief expert of Guangxi Fusui Dairy Science and Technology Backyard is Zou Caixia, a researcher from the School of Animal Science and Technology of GXU. Relying on Guangxi Shibu Dairy Group, this backyard is committed to developing and utilizing geo-relation feed resources (such as sugarcane tail leaves) and conducting research on the nutrition of dairy cattle and milk buffaloes. With the cooperation and training of school-enterprise, graduate students in the backyard actively promote the transformation and upgrading of traditional animal husbandry by promoting new technologies and models of dairy cattle breeding to farmers and organizing regular technical training.

The chief expert of Guangxi Lingshan Xiangji Science and Technology Backyard is Zou Zhiming, a senior animal husbandry scientist from GXU’s Institute of Agricultural and Animal Husbandry Industry Development. Supported by Guangxi Lingshan Yuanfeng Group, this backyard actively conducts research on the protection and development of Guangxi Lingshan chicken variety with local characteristics, its growth and development patterns, and the improvement of its meat quality and flavor. A series of achievements have been made, which have been highly recognized by the local government.

Since the establishment of the Science and Technology Backyard, GXU's Graduate School and Institute of Agricultural and Animal Husbandry Industry Development have closely aligned the backyard with the advantageous and special industrial layout of the autonomous region. Adhering to the principles of "strict construction, strict management, and strict evaluation," they have vigorously carried out "field classrooms" and "barn classrooms" to promote the organic integration of graduate student cultivation, scientific and technological innovation, and rural revitalization services. This has driven the reform of agricultural professional master's degree training and contributed to the construction of a Chinese-characteristic "double first-class" university firmly rooted in the vast land of Guangxi.
