October 24th, the team event of badminton competition of the 1st Student (Youth) Games of the People’s Republic of China concluded successfully at our university's comprehensive gymnasium. In the final of the women's team event in the secondary school category, Guangxi Team engaged in a fierce battle against Hunan Team and narrowly lost with a score of 1:2, securing the runner-up position. In the men's team event of the university category, Guangxi Team finished in seventh place.

After the competition, Jin Shunnan, Deputy Secretary of the University Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, Ning Xuchu, Liu Xiang, Tian Lihui, and Yu Wenjin—Members of the University Party Committee and Vice Presidents, leaders of the relevant departments of the China School Sports Federation (CSSF) and Department of Education of the Autonomous Region awarded medals and certificates to the winners of the gold, silver and bronze medals of the various competitions as well as to the coaches.

It is known that the individual badminton competition, which will last for five days, will commence on October 25th at the comprehensive gymnasium.
